MILESTONES

1972Founded by Eberhard Köpf with a start-up team of three. The high-quality solder connector ´System 300´ was manufactured completely by hand.
ADAPT provides, as one of a few manufacturers, a range of any lengths.
  
1987June 1st is the first day of business in the newly built company premises in Industriestraße in Großheubach.
  
1990Installation of plastic moulding department with our own in-house mould-making facilities.
  
1994Acquisition of new machinery, including a CO² laser plant to improve processes.
  
1996 Introduction of DIN EN ISO 9002: 1994 Quality Management System.
  
1999
Acquisition of ADAPT Elektronik GmbH by Paulinus Hohmann.
  
2000
to 2002 		Expansion of European sales network (Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland) to include Austria, Spain, Portugal and Italy.
  
2003Introduction of DIN EN ISO 9001: 2000 Quality Management System.
  
2005Purchase of a second CO² laser plant.
  
2006ESD-suitable equipment and restructuring of production areas.
  
2007Improvement of plastics department and founding of Czech subsidiary ADAPT CZ in Police and Metuji.
  
2009Imtroduction of an ecological project for integrated environmental technology (ÖKOPROFIT)
